THE TODAY SHOW SPREE

Well, the producer called me on a Friday and said "we want you" after an interview of about 45 minutes on the telephone.......and......................We have to get this done by Tuesday, "what day is good for you?"

Well, TUESDAY then I said.......thinking how in the world am I going to work......2/3 days I had to get ready, clean my house & put together a shopping spree.......not to mention things like "eat" and "sleep."

I immediately got on the telephone and called my two buddies, Tommi & Vicki, to see if I could get their help............well Vicki lives 1000 miles away.......so she couldn't come over and help me clean but she offered to SEARCH for some good coupons to send me OVERNIGHT if necessary........and Tommi offered coupons too...........and she lived right around the corner..........so I thought OK .........now I need some help cleaning my house, and oh yea..........does anyone have about 1 million gallons of water to fill in the lake out back ?(that is drained seasonally for environmental reasons)

My brother offered to come over and give me a hand with some cleaning chores.......while I got my website as ready as possible with the help of Marshall.........in ONE DAY.................OMG am I crazy for accepting this ????????????????

Well long story short(er) .......I ended up having all of the coupons and gift certificates I needed and didn't have to recruit any from Vicki or Tommi .............thank goodness.......with a little help from the mail deliveries........PLUS you would be surprised what you can find if you clean your desk off now and then!!!! I am famous for having what I call "piles" of mail and paperwork!

ANYWAY .........the mail came full of goodies from the things I had done on the internet........and mail ins and in the nick of time!

****4 pairs of panyhose........I had coupons from an offer out a long time ago for freebies...........and found them buried on my desk!

Here I had a $25.00 GC earned on the web too ($10 from CREDIT CARD and $15 in rewards)............see note above on how to do this.......the CREDIT CARD OFFER should be in your recent edition of the TIMES.........or in anjie archives (i hope)

I bought 2 sale items at 50% off......$50 worth of items.........PLUS ....a free coffee........I paid $2.07 here......I remember that cuz I was sure smiling with a bag of GODIVA chocolate and a NICE GIFT ALBUM.......for little money!

had a gift card that I had gotten over the Christmas holidays.........free from a purchase rebate.......that had just been delivered...........shopped the clearance which was "perfect timing" and got all of my items @ 75%-90% off........the best deal there was a set of pens (see photo of them on page http://www.freelancebyu.com/press.htm)

for 44c with a $1.50 rebate........I actually made a $1 for me to take them from the store! I got DH some (requested) Christmas cassettes for his truck for 25c each and a NEW trash can for my office (nice) reg. $12.95 for $2.xx......I got lots of goodies there and the total bill was $24.xx (reg. price almost $90) which was covered by my GC.........so ALL WAS FREE and I will be getting BACK $1.50 in the mail!

had a B1G1free sale with many items I had coupons for including PUREX TABS and RAGU..........I used coupons AND web bucks (good on ANY grocery purchase) WEBBUCKS are explained here

TACO BELL Products: 55c coupon on any product......PLUS rebate BUY 2 get $2.00 rebate on GROUND BEEF.......so bought that too

$5.00 rebate on ANY frozen Pizza from COORS BEER..........nope didn't have to buy beer to send it in..........sale + coupon.....made $$ after rebate on this purchase

FREE CLEANER: coupon from the SOUTHERN WOMENS SHOW last year......fill out those entry blanks......some of the merchants send you "junk mail" that have goodies in it

had a $2.00 GC from being a GOLD CARD MEMBER...........used on an EASTER CARD that cost me 77c after using it......also came in mail in the "nick of time"

FREE bought a bag from ebags with a DOLE code........and a $10 prodigy check......on 70% off sale .......reg. prices was $39 and I paid ZERO

********look for the FRUIT CUPS in your grocer.......get them on sale and make sure they are SMP................the prodigy check isn't good any longer.........but you still get a $10 GC

THIS WAS DONE IN 3 DAYS FOLKS from STUFF I HAD HERE AND GOT IN THE MAIL----if I had more time would have done better.............you can do this too ..........just stick with FREELANCEBYU!

enter the contests, sign up for all the STUFF, don't throw away "junk mail" without reading it first............and most of all CHECK THE NET.........for the STEALS you get here...........really they are the best!
