Dear Santa and FLBYU elves,

Thank you so very much!! On Christmas day my husband and I were blessed with the news that we are expecting our 2nd child! We are very excited for our daughter to be a big sister! I wrote in my original letter to you about how much we love to take photos of her and of us as a family and how I'd really love to be able to print them from my home computer, but my printer is not high-quality enough to print nice photos.

Well, someone there blessed us with a Lexmark printer that has been WONDERFUL for printing our pictures! Thank you so much! Our photo albums are filling and I've got a ton of photos to use in our scrapbooks now!! I sincerely appreciate the time, effort and money involved in 'adopting' me and the other gals from this board/group and I truly hope that I will be in the position next year to become one of Anjie's elves so that I can do something this nice for another member! Thanks again so much and I'm sorry it's taken so! long to write my thank you. I've been sick with the pregnancy, bronchitis and a cold and just don't feel very well. Thanks again!!!

Santa's elves have been working overtime! I wanted to say a very big thank you to one of the elves for sending me some fun makeup! I love the colors of the eyeshadow and the eyeliner and sharpener will always come in handy. It makes my heart smile to know that someone would go through the trouble of picking out something so nice for someone they don't know. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I sent in my wish never dreaming I would get picked, let alone actually
have my wish granted! I could not believe all the kindness shown to me
from complete strangers, from all corners of the USA! Thanks to all the
elves with big hearts, I now have all I need (and more) to knit and knit
and knit! My husband asked what I was going to do with all the yarn I
got, and I just smiled, because when someone is kind to you, you want to
pass that kindness on! I am going to knit some newborn hats to donate to
our local hospital, and also will knit some poncho's to donate to the
Pediatric Oncology Clinic where my daughter is seen also. These poor
children have to sit for hours while they get their chemo treatments, and
often are cold. Poncho's work well because they can be put on and taken
off without worry of their IV lines. Anyways, thank you from the bottom
of my heart for all the generosity poured out on me, and for making my
Christmas bright! I do believe in Santa!

I can not believe how caring people can be. For Christmas this year I
had not one but two beautiful caring elves. I had two presents to open
on Christmas morning. One was a CD player and one was a tape player so
that I can not only listen to my books on tape while hand sewing but was
just diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis 2 days before Christmas and
given some new exercises to do to music and the CD player will allow me
to do that also. THANK YOU BOTH A MILLION TIMES OVER. You have no idea
how happy you have made me. So far I have completed a 5x7 cross stitch
kitten for my daughter and a "good luck" piece for my son's Oriental
girlfriend's new home. The batteries and the candles made everything so
much brighter and easier.

May God bless both of you and give back to you a thousandfold what you
gave to me. I am still glowing with happiness.

can't begin to tell my Elves what a difference they made. I received lots of pampering things and some really great socks - things that I would never dream of buying for myself. You know, kids come first. Christmas morning I sat there opening my presents with tears in my eyes that strangers could be so loving and giving. Thank you so much!!!! Dear Flbyu Elves,

I have been thinking about how to express how my flbyu elves made me feel, but I can't come up with the right words to express it. I just was so amazed at the thoughtfulness and generosity that complete strangers seemed so willing to share with me! It truly touched me more than words can express. I really needed a lift this Holiday season, things always tend to get very heavy and anxiety filled for me this time of year, and it was so nice to have someone want to put a smile on my face!

My elves were anonymous except for one and I PMd her a TY, but I would like to express my Thanks again. To my elf that sent Liplites by BonneBell, to my teapot and Green tea elf, to my elf who sent a lovely variety of pampering products(Dove soap, Watermelon Bubble Bath, Razor,Mascara and some nice Teas for examples) and to Elf Rainenight who sent a lovely box with Tea, popcorn(yum!), Sunrise lotion, shower gel a! nd wash and bath confetti with a lovely card that included a Wally GC....You were all so very caring and generous, and so appreciated. Thank You from the bottom of my heart, my tension has been relieved and lightened by all of you. I am amazed by the kindness you have shown to me, Thank You is not enough.

Dearest Santa,
Thank you sooo much for the great socks, they are so
comfortable and I can wear them all day without having
to change them.
My children could not believe I received a gift in the
mail from Santa and I told them he must have forgot to
leave it, but he can't do that very often so don't

received a really nice cooking set, this was a total surprise and yet my Santa must know that I LOVE that my kids are beginning to cook, but have a few pans that I cherish and don't want ruined. My Santa sent me an entire cookware set!!!! I didn't realize until much later that I had this same Santa last year!!! THANK YOU!!! I also think a while back I got two games that came from the same area, so if you sent those too...THANK YOU!!

I also got a car airfreshner....LOVE LOVE LOVE YANKEE CANDLE STUFF!!! I also got something I NEEDED SO BAD, something to write on while driving (promise to pull over)...I jot a lot of ideas or things to do down and this comes IN HANDY!! I wanted to send a special Thank You note to my Santa's Elf. I have been really sick lately and was feeling lonely because I'm stuck here at home due to a severe problem with my leg and I got a knock on the door and a package was delivered addressed from a Santa's Elf. In it was a very thoughtful package of assorted stickers to use for scrapbooking/cardmaking which is what I had asked Santa for because not only does it help to take my mind off of the pain I'm in, but I also want to start making cards and things for girls that are going through problems, to help uplift and encourage them. This will surely help me with that. :) There was also a candy cane taped to the outside, which was very nice. :)

A BIG THANK YOU for your kindness and for making my holidays a little brighter this year. :)

What a nice surprise... and so very timely as I had been in the hospital for several days and was feeling especially ugly as I didn't even have makeup or a change of clothes (and didn't want to leave my little one alone long enough to get them). My Dearest Elf

I cannot thank you enough for the warm, snuggly, oh so pretty, oh so soft Microsuede Down Throw that I got yesterday !

Oh my gosh, I am gonna run out of happy tears pretty soon !!! I was snuggled up in it yesterday afternoon, (watching my shows of course !) and it couldn't have come at a better time ! It has been rainy and ucky here and now it has turned off damp and cold, so my bones and my muscles are just aching something fierce. I got myself a nice hot cup of peppermint tea and had a very nice nap. I needed it too cause not just the weather causing me problems, but also my cortsol is dropping like a rock the last few days and I feel like I have been walking thru sand. You are making it very easy to take care of myself. I have been a slave to the stove for several weeks as my DH's nephew is staying with us while he goes thru a divorce. Normally if my DH is out of town I just fix a bowl of soup or a sandwich for myself and take the night off from cooking. Since the nephew moved in I have been cooking every night ! My DH said to me, "stop it" he can take care of himself, but I felt guilty........well not anymore ! I feel very pampered and I really believe my new blanket has magic powers cause tonight DH is going to be late and guess what ? We are having soup ! Out of a Can !! I am sorry for the long drawn out thank you, but ever since I wrote to Santa, I have been putting me first more and more. Thank you so very, very much and thank you to everyone who helped, you are all Angels. !!! Bless you

Dear Dear Elf,

On Friday, Dec. 30th, we were in the middle of a torrential downpour. We had sandbags lining the entrance to the carport as the water was running in, we were carefully watching the banks of the small stream, now a fairly good sized creek, that winds it's way through our property. The water was starting to undermine our storage shed and patio.

Imagine my surprise when after a very hectic day, I received a knock on the door and there was a package for me.

For me...not for my husband or something I had ordered for someone else...but for me ! I was stunned to say the least.

When I wrote my Santa letter it was cathartic for me and I really hadn't expected anything. I sat down in the dining room with the box on my lap and my husband's nephew thought something was wrong ! I said. " no....but I didn't order anything". He said "open it", I did and started to cry. Not sad tears, but laughing and crying at the same time. I was blessed to receive the most wonderful gift from my FLBU Elf. I LOVE my new Black & Decker Quick n Easy Plus !!! It slices, it dices, it chops, it grates, it shreds !! OMG ! I will have skin left on my hands ! You have no idea how much you have touched my heart and made my life easier. My little metal grater had just bit the dust not more than two days before ! I had been wanting to make a recipe that my Grandmother gave me, but it involved grated potatoes and there was just no way I could do it. Look out !, we are now having latkes for New Years !!

When I can, I am usually the one behind the giving. I knew how good I felt doing for others, but I had no idea how it felt to be the person on the receiving end. Thanks to you and your loving, generous heart and spirit, I now know how it feels to be on the other side. I cannot ever thank you enough, not only for the wonderful addition to my kitchen, that will give some relief to my bruised and battered hands, but for thinking of me.

Thank you to everyone involved in Operation Santa, you are truly angels in disguise.

When I opened the door last wee, imagine my surprise when I sawa UPS standing there with a box just for me! I opened up my package and found the softest, most beautiful robe and the cutest slippers just for me. I love them! I wore them that night after soaking my troubles away in the tub for a bit!

Dear Santa,

I just wanted to thank you so much for finding my elf. I know they were supposed to remain anonymous but mine had to put her name down for the bill to field on the shipping invoice. Her name is Harriet Murphy and she's from Beltsville, MD.

Truthfully Santa I wasn't expecting anything. My husband doesn't buy me anything, he makes me pick out something, sometimes he wraps it, but really I don't see the point in it....lol!! I get a few things from my sister in Indiana but nothing spectacular which I don't want anyway. I am a pretty humble person although I do like nice things every once in a while, who doesn't right??

We had went to Tulsa for Xmas eve, that's where my dh's mom lives. We came home that evening to a HUGE package on the front porch. It was from the container store. I told my h! usband I was confused because I didn't order anything from them. And the FedEx and UPS guys had pretty much visited me everyday for the past week sometimes twice a day!!! I couldn't wait to open it so I cut the tape and I seen an invoice with my name and Harriett's. It still didn't click until I read the label on the item. A Scrapbooking cart! I immediately gasped and my chin must have dropped to the floor. My husband was like what?? I told him that this was my "secret" santa gift. And I couldn't believe it. I think he was almost just excited because he's tired of seeing my scrapbooking stuff piled into a small corner in our bedroom. He wanted to open it right then and put my stuff away. I told him that I didn't want to take it out of the box until the next day since it would be Christmas then. I have since put it too very good use. I can't believe someone would buy this for me, someone they didn't even know!!!!

Well that's not the end of it Santa. Today I heard the post lady pull up. I saw her trying to put a large box into my mailbox without success. I went out and got it from her. I was puzzled to what it was and I seen the address. It looked familiar but I wasn't quite sure. I opened it up and there was some beautiful kitchen towels and pot holders, some lip balm and lotion from Avon and the most beautiful scarf I have seen and a pair of dragonfly pins. A note from Harriett was in it. Tears came to my eyes. I REALLY didn't expect anything else especially not from Harriett again. But these things are very much appreciated. I did send a post card out to her thanking her for all the kindness she sent my way. I sent a post card I got from my last trip to Las Vegas since she knows I will be going again soon. And I will be taking that beautiful scarf with me!!!&n! bsp; Thanks again Santa and please make sure you tell Harriett again how much she is appreciated!!

I truly appreciate being included in this year's Santa Operation-- and the coat is a wonderful gift. It is so warm and a perfect fit! I have not had a new coat in many years and this one is perfect for me!! I am absolutely overwhelmed at the gift of the coat-- but even more at the heart behind the giving. This has been the best christmas because of you guys being a single mom and not having a lot I am always the one who does not get presents my kids only get 3 presents each and they were jealous i got more present then them they get 1 from santa and 2 from me and it was cool i told them i got more because my birthday is next week I have gotten use to all these years not getting any but this year I felt like a little kid presents coming in the mail and then on xmas my kids started to believe again since mom got presents too

My cd's of Reba and Traci are awsome i listen to them everyday on the way to work and when I am driving the kids to there different sports.

The candle making kits where so great my son said mom santa must of been listening to me because i told him i wanted a candle making kit for my mom and he could not get it for me

Dear Angie, Jamie “Claus”, and my very dear Freelance Elf Friends,

Ah, the miracles and surprises of Christmas! I was so excited, honored, and surprised my letter to Santa was chosen after the rough few months we’ve had,…. it was a much needed and appreciated pick me up!

             My elves honestly and truly blessed me with their kindness, generosity, and love. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

         I received cookie cutters (my boys and I made all kinds of sugar cookies with them as we wondered about the elf that sent them, and where they were from and if they made cookies too, and! so on, it was such special time together) cooling racks, and lovely stationary and note cards (I have written to my friends and family on, making their day by sending a surprise “Hello”), and SOCKS!
I was so thrilled with everything!

     I am very happy to report I have washed several loads of laundry since Christmas and thanks to my friends, the elves, I have socks that go in and come out of the washing machine! My poor cold feet thank you too, they are so warm and cozy now! May the bounty of blessings and love you have touched my heart with (and that of my family) find its way back to you tenfold.

I want to send a HUGE thank you out to all of the wonderful people who made my Christmas SO special! I recieved a couple of packages before Christmas, and a few more after Christmas - I was so happy, I cried! Every day I ran to the mailbox to see if there was anything for me, and I was thrilled to find packages for me! I now have new clothes, socks, and shoes to wear (woohoo, I actually have something NEW for me!)

Thank You soooo much for making my wish come true. I had ask to help send
a box to a soldier that I try to help in Iraq but because of my husband
having surgery I was not able to send one for xmas. But I got an angel that
was kind enough to send one for me and even put my name and address on the
box. But the biggest surprise was when a box arrived for me. Inside was the
nicest card and gift that made me smile and cry all at the same time.I will
always remember this xmas when an angel made my soldier and myself very

I just want to thank you Santa for making such a fun Christmas for me. I
went to the post office and there was a package for me with no sender.
Right away I knew it must have been from you. I took it home and stared
at it for 2 days, I just couldn't wait any longer. I tore it open and it
was the flannel pj's I asked for ,red and white checked, just like yours
I bet. I love them. They are so warm. Then on the 26th I checked my mail
and got a pair of muk luk house shoes.I LOVE THESE. I had never heard of
them. They are so cool. I have gotta get me some more of these. This was
one of the best Christmas I have had in years. Thank You so much Santa,

I want to thank Elf Jelma Ge and Elf Janada S for answering my santa request for stamps.

My forced career move has left my husband and I in dire straights financially, and it was really bad this past month since I added items for my children and grandchild to our budget. It made it very difficult to consider where the money would come from to buy stamps for my cards, notes and pkgs. to the service men and women.

And a tragedy happened to a special family in my life the week before Christmas. Pati, a mom of 3 young boys was killed on her mail route, I spent a lot of time between work and my home while trying to find ways to make the Christmas for the children something other than another day without their mom.

I don't think I succeeded of course, but I do hope I gave them something to remember other than their tragedy. The children have already been taken 1500 miles away to live with their father. I won't know at all if the items I sent were even received or helped in any way to get through the day. So the grandparents whom they've all lived with for the past year have not only lost their daughter, they've now lost their grandsons. A horrendous week to say the least.

My own family 'celebration' was tarnished with one of my children not being with us, and it brought our year to a close the way it started last year, not knowing if he is well, safe or even alive.

It brings to heart the reason for my request, and the appreciation to Janada and Jelma for helping me continue to try to help others get through their days with even the slightest bit of sunshine.

I can't do a thing for my son other than to always be here if he decides to get help, I can't do a thing for the family who will always have an empty hole in their hearts missing Pati, I can't insure that the youngest boy (just turned 5) will even remember her over the course of his life, but I can try to make a difference in the day of a GI serving our country in some far off place, away from his family and loved ones.

Thank you Jelma and Janada, for being kind and thoughtful and holding the spirit of Christmas in your hearts.

Here's hoping that the new year brings you peace and contentment in your lives, and the wish from my favorite quote "Whatever you give will find countless ways back to you."

just want to take a minute to thank Santa and the elf who sent me the Mr coffeemaker Omg! it was exactly what I wanted and needed, thank you so very much!! Amazingly I did get my 10 minutes to enjoy my very first cup I made with it!! It has been great to be able to "set it and forget it" in the evening before I go to bed and wake up to the smell of coffee....I love it!!. Wow, what a surprise!! I didn't expect anything from Santa

because my wishes were too much, or so I thought. But, the

"Cajun Elf" really got me. I had asked for, amongst other things,

prayers and some "magic dust". Well, I opened my package and

found a wand. Imagine my surprise. Thank you "Cajun Elf". I

plan to repackage and send to my Dad. He should get a big kick

out of it. Happy New Year.

(By the way, I have managed to reach one of my "goals". Maybe

if I wave the wand just right, I'll be able to accomplish the other

one too.)

I would like to thank my santa or should I say Santas. For I recieved two wonderful boxes. You would just not know the joy of finding both of these gifts setting on my porch. I recieved so many things just for me that it would take months to use it all. I have never had such a Christmas as this. Just thinking about it brings tears to my eyes. I wanted to thank Santa and all his helpers. I received a wooden dowel with green feather boa on it from one of Santa's Cajun Elves,Mrs. Santa sent me a lovely throw it is soooo very soft,my youngest son and granddaughter took it over for a little bit,but now and then I get to use it!! hahaha I also received a clutch purse with tea bags and chap stick inside from a freelancebyu elf and when Santa was driving over Little rock he dropped me a Christmas card off!! I just wanted to thank everyone who thought of me this year,it was so sweet and thoughtful of everyone.

I want to THANK everyone so much for the kind gestures. I had a couple of surprises under my tree on Christmas morning. And what a surprise a few days later to see a few more things in the mail. I just returned from visiting my beautiful grandson in California and
sitting in my living room was this package from Santa, now i really had
forgotten about the santa wish list and when i opened it and saw that is
