here is some feedback from OPERATION SANTA !   OMG I just love when this happens!  READ THE JOY in the letters below and SMILE for a JOB WELL DONE! YOU GO ELVES!    I WANT YOU TO KNOW that I love love love this AWESOME PROGRAM and this is WHAT THE SEASON IS REALLY ABOUT................making smiles, love and friendship.  THANK YOU FREELANCERS FOR ANOTHER WONDERFUL YEAR, helping others and helping ourselves YOU REALLY REALLY  ARE THE BEST OF THE NET!
 
 

I’m sitting here in complete disbelief! The kindness of Santa’s elves has me in a bit of shock. I have to thank all the elves who made my Christmas! I received a package with the BEST socks I have ever worn. No kidding, I had no idea why my hubby was so ‘sock obsessed” until I put these on. Truly warm and fluffy!!!  I also received some gorgeous hair ties. Now I can keep my hair in control while waiting for it to grow out.Then this morning a package arrived and I assumed it was for Hubby’s work But it was for ME! It was chock full of summer goodies from Santa. I can not wait for summer so I can use them all. There were also candles and chocolate. I guess Santa knows that a woman needs both to wait out the snow.

This afternoon I came home to a HUGE box on my porch. It was an amazing assortment of Tropical delights.Soaps, creams, candles in lovely scents. There was also a BEAUTIFUL calander and stain glass hanging. BUT I have to say the best part was the sand. My husband thinks Im nuts, But Im enjoying playing in the sand with the shells...LOL It has a Zen garden quality to it that is very calming.( and just fun!)  Thank you EVERYONE who sent packages, cards and phone calls this year. It has been a little bit rough with my mom being so ill and the happiness you all have sent along has made it so much brighter for MY WHOLE family. I know Operation Santa is supposed  to be just “for me” BUT, my folks and family have also received much joy from you all.Thank you so very much Laurie M   P.s.Another box arrived today! I loved the Journal and Picture. Im looking forward to reading the book as I drink the tea . Could not come at a better time. I need all the spiritual guidence I can get.

 

 

 

Dear Santa's Elf,   Christmas eve morning the mailed man honked for me to come outside, he was
holding a package out the window of his vehicle that would not fit in my mail box.  I saw the return address was SC, hmmm , I don't know anyone is South Carolina. I took the brown paper off, opened the box and inside is a
package wrapped in Christmas paper with a card on the front that says " Do Not Open Until Christmas ".  Believe it or not I did wait, I had so much fun trying to figure out who it could be from and what it was. I was stunned when I opened it and there were the house shoes I had been wanting but had asked Santa to give to someone else more in need. This may not seem like much to many people but tears of joy and gratitude rolled down my cheeks. Not only will the shoes keep my feet warm, but also my heart. I know this gift had to come from a very caring special person. Thank you so very much for making my Christmas Eve and Christmas Day special. May your year be filled with much happiness and many blessings.  Jane

Hi Anjie,  Santa's package was delivered this morning.  I received my new printer a LexmarkZ45se please thank the elf that sent it to me.  I was so excited and my hubby went right to work getting it out to hook up for me  if you or anyone knows where I can purchase ink possibly cheaper for this printer please let me know.  The printer is great ................... Please make sure that My elf knows how much I appreciate it though.  Thanks for all of the freelancers that put in their time working on Operation Santa it has really lifted my spirits to receive a gift this morning especially from someone that has never even met me.  Hope to be an elf next year and can do the same for someone else. Oh, Angie!  My Elf, ECJ in Alexandria Va, is absolutely the most generous and caring person!!  I cannot put into words how I felt when I opened up the envelope to find 4-$25 gift certificates to Safeway!!  The fact that someone could give that amount to someone they've never met is overwhelming!  I wish I could see the look on my brother and sister-in-law's faces when they get these!  They've been struggling for so long!  I've never been able to send them money to help out but always send my extra coupons and little things for them if I can.  This is just so great that they'll be able to go grocery shopping!!  Real grocery shopping, not just the necessities to get them by.  THANK YOU!!  THANK YOU!!  THANK YOU!!  You've made my Christmas, and I'm sure it will make theirs!!   Jessica

I came home from Christmas vacation today  to be suprised by numerous gifts from your elves.  I received four letters of emotional support as well as Dr. Phil's new weight loss book.  I never could have imagined that my private plea for weight loss could have affected that many people.  have to say I was quite surprised to receive from an elf, a huge assortment of sausage and cheese and jelly's from my elf..it was so nice to have something just for me. I am in complete awe..and tickled  pink at the same time, it sure did make my day..and a pleasant treat at the end of the day to much on..saving a little for each night to eat and relax with while i compute or watch tv....thanks to my elf...........deborah:)

Wow!  OMG!  Wow!  Obviously I was selected.  Thank you all so much.  It was amazing.  An interesting package arrived on Christmas eve.  That in itself was thrilling.  The contents were a mystery which drove my family nuts.  I had to fend off numerous requests that I just go ahead and open it right this minute.  When the packaging was finally removed, my youngest daughter cautioned me not to get my hopes up because the box was probably just being reused for something else.  But it really was a flat-bed scanner!  We couldn't believe it.  I'm so excited.  I've never used such a nice one.  And it left my firebrand speechless.  What a grand gift.  We had the most magical Christmas since the kids were small.  Thank you all so much.  It was really wonderful.   Reen
 
 
Dear Elves and Angie,   I want to thank everyone who made my Christmas sooooo great.  It was like being a kid again when the postman came.  I received such wonderful gifts from CA, TN, FL, and PA.  I received such beautiful and soft tops and sweaters it brings tears to my eyes every time I open my closet.  In fact some times when no one is around I just stand at my closet and admire all the wonderful tops I received.  Thank you all soooooo much.  I never thought I would receive such wonderful items when I wrote that letter to Santa.  You freelancers sure do have great taste.  I also received a couple of jackets, some chocolate, some bath and body works items, and jewelry.  OH Thank you sooo much.  Maybe next year I will be able to make someones Christmas a little extra special just like you made mine.  Thank you all so much, you are the greatest. Dear Santa - Thank you so much for the wonderful gifts I received.  The candles will burn brightly in my house as I gaze upon them thinking of your elf who was so thoughtful.  The scrapbook materials will help make my projects even nicer and again will remember the elf who brought them.  Most importantly was the wonderful, tender notes of cheering up I received from the elves.  That meant more to me than anything and truly means someone really cares.  Thank you, Santa and your elves, and God Bless them one and all - including the Head Honcho of Elves, Anjie.  Thank you so much again.  You moved me to tears.  Sandy

I just have to write and let you know this.  There are so many sweet and special people in the world, you included.  My letter wasn't chosen to be a receiver from Santa, nor was I able to be an Elf, due to money
issues.   But...we have been so broke, I really didn't think we were going to have a Christmas this year for our family.  Between the doctor bills, dentist bills and car repair for our 27 year old car, and regualr
day to day stuff, we were strappped!   The ladies at my work secretly got together and made a collection for me.  Just under $200.00.  Then this past week, gifts just magically appeared on my desk for my 2 year
old.     And one of the girls I work with brought in a huge bag of gifts for my daughter.  She says her parents "Adopt" a child for Christmas and they chose Abby.   Someone even got my husband and myself some warm long sleeve jackets.  (I suspect my supervisor)  I just hope that    next year, we are doing better financially, so I can do the same for someone else!  I just wanted to take this time, to thank you for a great year of great deals, freebies and sample.  And contests.  And to let you know, Santa is everywhere this year!  I know for a fact.  God Bless you Angie.  ~Brenda
 
 
Just wanted to say thank you to my Santa.  I received my charm today, about 15 minutes ago!  It is so cute!  The charm look like it will fit on a necklace, I will take it to the jeweler to see if he can somehow cut it and resodder it so it will fit on my charm bracelet!  Thank you so much Santa, this really brightened up my Xmas Eve!!!

I couldn't believe it.  When I came home today, there was a gift from Santa on my door step! :)  I have never had anything so nice ever happen to me before in my life!!!! I couldn't believe it.  I received a Black and Decker "Tall size"  electric can opener which was on my list.  I believe my daughter was as excited as I was because she always had trouble using the hand held turning kind.  She is my little kitchen helper and she (we) just had to use it tonight. It works wonderfully. If you could have only seen us!! I just have to say thank you to my "secret Santa" from the bottom of my heart.  This was such a special "treat" and is the only gift I will be receiving this Christmas (my kids are young and I'm a single mom). But that's OK. Besides having two happy, healthy kids, I couldn't have asked for a nicer gift.  It has been said that what we do for others comes back to us triple. You are wonderful!!!!.  Thanks Angie also for organizing this.  You too will be rewarded. Angie,  I wanted to say thanks to whoever was an elf and helped grant my 1 Christmas wish.  I said the one thing I wanted was a sewing machine so I could make things for my family.  Today, a few minutes ago, UPS showed up w/a package addressed to me.  I did not remember ordering anything and was really confused that he made mistake.  But the box had my name on it......when I opened it, there was a Brother sewing machine.....I wept.....I never thought...ever thought, someone would be that generous enough to do that.  So to my personal elf out there, you made one woman very, very happy this Christmas and may all your holiday wishes come true!! WOOHOO  I got really lucky this year!!! Was feeling a little guilty 'cause I ran out of time this year what with work & extended familys' problems, I didn't get to be an elf. Except for the small gifts I sent to you & my penpal early on. I did remember to donate to Marshalls' paypal for Operation Santa on the 20th-so that made me feel better!       Geez! I got 3 PACKAGES!!! 1 B/B works lotion, 1 3pc. set & today a HUGE basket of beautiful stuff + a handmade purse!!!!!! God I LOVE every single piece of everything!!!!! I swear, next year, come hell or high water-I'm going to send out lots of goodies!!!!!  I accumulate alot of "stuff"; just will MAKE the time to get it sorted & to the post office next year as soon as the O.S. list is up!  I sure didn't expect soooo much! Dear Santa,  When I asked you to surprise me I had no idea what I was really asking for. Thanks to you and your elves it didn't take me long to figure it out.  It was the feeling of being a child on Christmas morning and rushing to the Christmas tree knowing that there were  all sorts of goodies for me there but not knowing what they were.  And now, just like then, Santa, you and your elves did not disappoint. For a while I was transported back to my childhood and felt the magic and wonder of Christmas.  Thank you is not enough but it's all I have so thank you all and I hope you are also able to feel a little of that magic and wonder.   Pat
 
 
I just wanted to let you and Penny (from Adkins,Texas) know that I received a big package from my Secret Santa!! I was so surprised to find a package on my porch from Santa! My 3 year old son and I was so excited we ripped into the package and the card read that the first package was for my son and the others were for me - I was just so overwhelmed with awe. I couldn't believe that someone that I didn't know was so sweet and caring to send my son and myself a special Christmas gift right from their heart :-) I still get a big smile on my face every time I think of opening that box!  Since I don't have any presents to myself under our tree I am going to wait until Christmas morning to open my gifts from Santa! My husband and I are going to wait until he returns home in January from Iraq to celebrate our Christmas. I will email you again to let you all know what wonderful surprises I received from my Secret Santa. Please let my Santa know that I received her package and that it has REALLY brightened up my holidays! I can hardly wait until Christmas morning to see what surprises are under my tree!!  I just can't believe it!  I wrote in and said I would like something to wear to radiation therapy for breast cancer.  I can't believe the outpouring of wonderful, generous people.  Three people have responded with soft, warm, fuzzy and beautiful outfits. I speak from my heart that I never really experienced the "true" meaning of Christmas until this year.  Yes I was given a disease that I always prayed I would never get, but these 3 people have blessed me in a way I never realized was possible.  This year I am thankful for my body (as is) and really know that "true" meaning that people talk about.  My thanks and prayers to all of the good Samaritans and for your site - if not for it, I would never have know such joy. I will be the first elf to sign up next year or if you know someone who needs something wonderful to creep into their hearts before then, pls let me know. I hope you will forward this to the freelance elf that  sent me my electric blanket.  Thank- you so much for the wonderful electric blanket.  I have been using it every night since I got it in the mail.  I still can't believe that someone would do this for a person they don't even know.  I had just returned from having a  root canal done on my tooth and this box was on my steps.  Needless to say it sure lifted my spirits that

I just wanted to thank my elf for the wonderful gift.  I was so surprised, I just got back from picking my kids up from school and there it was.
I was having a bad day, emotionally and that just made my day. Nothing seemed to be  going right that day and I just cried from the wonderful gift. It made my day!!!!! I opened the package and found some wonderful items, Bath stuff, boy will  those have some wonderful use. I could not wait to use them.  I also got two  books, they will be used and read, in fact I started reading them. Yes, I want them to know that I will enjoy them as much as they did.  Thank you sooooooooo much from the bottom of my heart, and a wonderful prayer will be going out to all of the elves and their families from me each and everyday. I think that you have brought much cheer and happiness to many families this year.  With the tough times we all have faced this past year, it is great to know that someone we  don't even know, has a heart and cares. I am very sentimental when it comes to things like this. I have tears in my eyes now as I type. DEAR SANTA  Well, this was really something! First off, I didn't know that a puppy would really be something that an Elf could deliver.... and so I was really surprised when we got a package in the mail from Elf Max with doggy items and a money order towards the purchase of a puppy!    We found a really sweet Peke-A-Poo (3 months old) from a breeder, and gave her the money order to hold it for us 'til Christmas.  THEN we get a e-card from another Elf saying we were to go to the local Humane Society and pick out our puppy! (We had just visited there prior to our puppy purchase and they didn't have any dogs appropiate for a housedog.) So back we went and had a talk with the person in charge. We explained that we had just been there the week before (and she remembered us), and how we had found a breeder to purchase a puppy from. We also looked again while there thinking that maybe we would be able to back out with the breeder since she was holding it for us 'till Christmas, but they still didn't have any. She said since she didn't have a way to get back with the Elf, she would give us credit. We have an appt. to get our new puppy spade once she's old enough.  The breeder is holding our puppy 'til Christmas Eve. We are praying that we'll have the balance by then. I can't wait to see the kids faces when they see the puppy!!!!! Thank you all so much! Merry Christmas! Shirley 
 
 
 
It was a cold, bleak, and windy day
When this little brown package came.
The boys tumbled out of the van to play,
Tussling, as always, the other one is to blame.
 
The little brown box had the word "ELF" on top.
The boys said "Lets open it and see!!"
"No, no." Said I.  "And your fighting must Stop!"
To myself, I thought, 'could this be? Really? Something just for me?'
 
The holiday season this year, like the weather,
Has been, at best, bleak.
No matter how hard we've tried or how good our intentions,
We've gotten socked in the cheek.
 
So how much good can be done by a little brown box?
A lot!  It lit up my heart.
Amazing, for a simple pair of shoes and some really cute socks!
A simple Thanks seems to be only a start.
 
For, that pair of shoes and really cute socks,
Has had so very much more meaning.

I got home today and had a package for me, it was from an elf in MN, I could not believe someone, that doesnt know me could be so nice, I have never received anything like this, it was pajamas and bath goodies, and a box of hot chocolate, and a santa mug, I had to write this to thank the person who sent this to me, and when I drink my hot chocolate, I will think of the special person that gave me this, and how happy they have made me, thank you so much, you have made my christmas so happy, Tammy  in frenchburg, kentucky.
 
 
hi there ,  i have a story to tell you that  should make your day,i had put in a request for santa from your page a few weeks ago. i really didnt think about it much. after reading some of the things people wanted or needed i felt i was being petty on what i wanted .,,,well  here is my story i was working at my local meijer store last night when i was going on break i guest stopped me and asked me if we gave donations to help for christmas, i said we do but she would have to come back in the morning to talk with the store director.
 well she started crying because she said she didnt think she could get back as for she borrowed a friends car ,i asked her what did she need and all she wanted was to get her little girl a brats doll for christmas . well i took my last 10.00 and told the lady i would be right back.
i went to the toy area and got that doll for her much to my suprise it was on sale so i got it for 5.00 bucks then gave the rest to her for them to get some milk and cereal.   i was going to use it to buy me a bath towel for my bathroom but she needed it more anyway when i got home santa had left me a package at my door i opened it up and there was a few new towels and some sheets for my bed .i just sat there and cried. just want to say than you to my secret santa it made my day .    proud to be a freelancer  tammy P

Thank you , words cannot express the gratitude, and overwhelming  feelings that came over me, to see a box left on my porch addressed to me! I was in total shock, knowing that the Santa Wish I had made was way to hard to fufill. To my surprise, I opened a box stuffed full of pampering items, and JUST for ME! The Christmas Movies and the lotions, and bath products, and the long distance cards were more than anyone could EVER ever hope for! I was so moved , I was in tears. As I looked through it all I called my Mother who in return was in awe,  she too was overwhelmed by the selfless generousity of a complete stranger! My Dad was in tears as well, as they both know how I feel being alone so much with 4 kiddos. Anjie, and to my special ELF(Angel) thank you from the very, very, bottem of my heart!!! I feel so blessed to be linked to people as special as you all~ Merry Christmas and God Bless you all! I hope to return the favor soon for someone else in need of blessing~

Just wanted to say Santa brightened my day yesterday  after having a very long and dreadful day with my kids(my daughter got into my nail polish and you can imagine the mess it made!) I went out to my mailbox to find a package waiting for me.  Would you please thank Santa for bringing me Bath & Body Works bubble bath and spray, some vanilla fields perfume and candles.  This really brightened my terrible day!!!!!!! Thank you so much again for doing this for people, it really is wonderful and just made my xmas better knowing that I could actually open a present for myself!   Michelle

I have to let you know I received my Christmas wish for a new blender from "freelancer elf Rebecca M."  What a pleasant surprise! 
Although it was only 50 degrees here this morning, I made myself a mocha freeze after getting back from my walk.  The blender did a perfect job.  It's been soooooo long since I've had a new blender! Please give my big "thank you" to Santa's elf for both the blender and the cute Christmas card.  Mary
 
 I am one of the receivers of Operation Santa, and I cannot tell you how I feel. I wrote to one of the wonderful people and I hope she shared my letter with you all. I have never felt so wonderful in my life. I cried when I received no one but several packages from people I have never even talked to or even met, I cannot express how grateful I am to all of the wonderful elf's who made a lonely person so very happy on Christmas.  You are all such wonderful and giving people and I hope that one day I can be a secret elf and help others as you have helped me. I felt like I knew these people and the packages just felt like I was getting big hugs and lots of love. I received so many wonderful things, body and hand lotion, even a beautiful gold necklace, writing paper and even a phone card to call my daughter. All I can say is THANK YOU THANK YOU ALL from THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.  My new year has started out bad, my sister is in a nursing home, and her 30 year old son passed away and of course they had no insurance, so I will have to find a way to pay on his burial.  So all I can say is THANK YOU for making my "Christ"mas so wonderful.  May God Bless You and ALL of your wonderful ELF.  Again thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I just wanted to thank my wonderful Santa for the tennis shoes that were delivered to me a few days before Christmas.  They are so comfortable and so great.  Santa knew exactly. I have been reading the emails from the others who received gifts and there are some true angels out there.  I hope that one day I am able to be one who can do something for another like those have.

Just wanted to say Thank You to my Cajun Elf in the South Pole.Yesterday, 1/6, as I was making dinner and helping my youngest daughter  make cupcakes, the door bell rang and it was the man in brown.  He had a huge box with him.  He said he was sorry it was a little banged up but Merry Christmas anyway.  I got pretty excited when I saw it was from an elf in the south pole.  Inside was 3 cinnamon candles, a box of chocolate turtles (my favorite) and a large basket filled with bath products for
pampering.  I was truly surprised and filled with gratitude.  It put a smile on my face for the rest of the night, especially when I explained the whole concept to my daughter.  She thought it was all "very cool that a stranger would do that for someone." 
This weekend I get my ME time.  My husband is taking the kids out to eat and then a movie.  So I will take my bubble bath, eat my chocolates,drink my wine ( a gift from a friend) and read my book (from the library), while smelling my new candles.  I will be so relaxed that I  just might even take a nap.

 I too, was one of the lucky ones to have a Secret Santa send me a gift. I not only had one, but two!! I didn't ask for anything in particular, just something from the heart and that's just what I received. Both sent things they had made themselves and it truly, truly brightened my day. I want to thank both of my Secret Santas, (one is from Indiana and the other from Florida) so much for what they did. I believe that the efforts they put forth came from a very loving heart.  Thank you ladies once again and thank you Angie for being so thoughtful as to organize such a thing.  Debbie W

 

I wanted to say thank you to anjie and my secret santa. I received my Dr. Suess book along with candy canes, a carton of hot chocolate and a big coffee mug. It was pretty neat coming home from a bad day of work and opening my package. It sure turned my mood around, instantly I went from feeling stressed and upset to happy and upbeat. The best part about it was my mom was there and just like when I was a little girl, she read me my wonderful new book Oh The Places You'll Go. The hot chocolate has sure warmed me during these past few days, it's been below zero here in Wisconsin. I just can't thank you enough for fulfilling my Christmas Wish. I think my Thank You to my santa elves got lost in cyberspace.  Please, please let them know how much their gifts meant to me.   I wrote and told you how I just can't seem to get my feet warm.  Four sweet and generous Mrs.Santas gave me the warmest and cuddliest socks ever.  I just want them to know that their generosity and  thoughtfulness was wonderful and dearly
appreciated.Thank you so much  and I hope I can be someone's Mrs. Santa next year. They truly showed the spirit of the season.

Merry Christmas to you as well!! And thank you for your support! I sent a copy of your email to my husband - he really enjoys hearing about how people in states support him and our troops! Even though my husband wasn't home this year for Christmas I was very blessed to receive three SPECIAL gifts for Christmas! I received once box from a freelancer elf and another from Santa, the first box was a Freelancer Elf (Rebecca) she sent me some WONDERFUL Avon Foot scrub and cream for my tired aching feet! Which I have already used and absolutely LOVE - Thank you Rebecca! My second package was from Santa in TX(Penny from Adkins, TX). There were so many beautifully wrapped gifts - even one for my 3 year old son! I waited until Christmas morning to open them up and was just in awe by the generosity and thought and care that went into these gifts! Santa gave me a beautiful green hat & scarf set that matches my black coat wonderfully. I also received herbal energizing tea, blow up foot bath with fizzle balls, foot cream, anti-stress neck wrap and lavender spritz and stretch bands and a wonderful exercising tape that I have started using and I really enjoy it! I should be taking those pounds off in no time! My son received a Hookie-Pookie Elmo and just LOVES it - it is so cute to watch him dance and sing with Elmo! My last gift is from the Army Santa - they moved my husbands unit out of Baghdad on December 22nd and into Kuwait. They will be coming home late January or February! My heart is just filled with joy with all the new wonderful gifts from these beautiful strangers - thank you - thank you - thank you!!!
Thank you Anjie and thank you to all your wonderful Elves! You all are a terrific team and have made this Freelancer a very happy gal! This has been a wonderful - memorable Christmas that I will always cherish! Thank you!!!!

Dear Anjie,I want to let you know that I still weep with joy at the generosity of the Elves. Thanks to them, I have a bathrobe to keep me warm and craft supplies to keep me busy. I did not have the funds to buy these items due to being on disabilty right now so these welcomed surprises were a wonderful gift. Angie, I put in my Christmas wish and it was put on your list.  I was gone for the holidays and came home today.  My neighbor came over with a big box and inside was not only my wish of a bubbling, massaging foot bath but also a foot spa set.  I was so thrilled and will enjoy using it tonight after a busy day of unpacking, washing, grocery shopping, etc. 
 Thank you for making my holidays extra special. I enjoy buying for others but don't buy many special things for myself.

Wanted to thank two "Elves" from FBY!  I mentioned how I would like 2 postcards from Niagara Falls to place next to 2 postcards I found from my parent's honeymoon 58 years ago. BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I not only got MORE than 2 postcards, but I also received maps,  brochures and beautiful pictures!  They were nestled among my Christmas cards so I wasn't expecting what I opened!  What a great Christmas surprise! Thank you Thank you Thank you!Now I'm rethinking my old collage I was going to use.  I may use the map (or  portion of it) as a center focal point for all the pictures/postcards/etc.  I call this room my Travel Room so the theme with Niagara Falls is PERFECT.  I already have a collection of pictures from our vacation on the beach in Florida and a set of pix from our excursion on the Great American Railroad trip we took in North Carolina.

To Santa and his very very special elves.. apparently my letter of thanks was not received so here I go again.  Santa was very nice to me this year, I had two very special elves that I want to thank from the bottom of my heart.  Very rarely do I feel the joy and excitement that I felt receiving those two special boxes in the mail!!!  :)  To my first elf.. I'm sorry that your husband didn't like that scent that you sent me.. he he he.. but I love it!!  And so does my hubby, the samples were great, and everything just wonderful!!!  To my other elf.. the bath and body stuff was excellent.. my favorite just happens to be melon!!!  You did great.. even without knowing me.. that is amazing!!  I am so glad and thankful for this program and that not only did I receive this year.. I got to be an elf too!!!  That made me feel almost as wonderful, if not more so then receiving myself!!  Can't wait til next year to grant some more wishes!!  And a special prayer goes out to Anj, santa and his very special elves.. from this very gracious freelancer!!  And thanks to everyone that helped Anj out too..Terri  <songangell>

I also have to say that I have met a local freelancer too her name is Carrie and she is very special and has become a wonderful friend.  When she seen my letter on the site.. she took me shopping and bought me a wonderful house coat!!!  And another freelancer in Ohio Lisa that has become like a sister to me.. sent me some homemade candies and a candle which smells wonderful!!!  Sorry so long.. i have sooooo much joy from all this!!!  SONGANGEL

Yesterday in the mail from Good OLE SANTA.. It was to my surprise a beautiful set which includes earrings a knecklace and a nice watch. Guess what and they all match, lolo   Plus, I also received a Bath and Body Works set of lotion and Spray. Awesome  scented. Made the hubby a little bit jealous. He thought I had found another, hehehehe.. But Now he is better....

Hi!  I just read the page of responses to the "elf" gifts.  I scanned down to see if perhaps someone wrote about the gift I sent and there it was.  A nice little poem was written about the shoes I mailed to Lisa.  It made my eyes water reading it, and I wished that I had had more info about her needs before mailing.  See, originally I had trouble e-mailing you and wanted to send to one of the people on the posted list. By the time I was able to get a message out that I wanted to be an elf, I was asked if I wanted to fill a wish from someone else.  No problem, I said.  That's when I was given the name of Lisa and was told she wanted athletic shoes.  As I was leaving on vacation, I had no time to correspond with Santa to see what else I could send too, and time ran out to shop.  I've really looked forward to seeing if there was any response to the gift I mailed and now that it's hear, I have the feeling I just don't want to wait until next Christmas to do it again.  I wouldn't mind periodically sending a surprise to someone in need throughout the year.  Thanks for your website.  I still remember the day I saw you on the tv talking about it and trying my best to memorize the the web address until I could locate a paper and pen!  I couldn't wait to get to it!  Lucy

 

I just have to write and thank you for the pots and pans.  I was quite surprised when the mail truck pulled up in front of my house and brought this long box to my door.  I think my husband was as surprised as I was.  It really made my Xmas a little brighter.  I want to thank you for sending these pots and pans to me as Santa was really good to me.
