| OPERATION SANTA WISH LIST MIRACLES DO HAPPEN! scroll down to read wishes, elf instructions and info about this special project!
DEAR SANTA ................... Dear Santa, I've tried to be a good girl. I hope you
know that!. Well - Let me first say I appreciate all you(Anjie especially) and
everyone does to save money. I don't know where I would be if it weren't for
you. I look forward to my newsletter each and every day. God knew he had someone
special when he made you. My first wish is for this - that I get a
decision on my non-duty disability retirement that I've been fighting for for
almost 3 years. You see, I was in a near-fatal auto accident 5 years ago and
recouperated for almost a year. I still have severe problems with my right ankle
and am currently not eligible for a replacement. Anyhow, I worked for the State
of Michigan, attempted to go back - worked for a while and couldn't cut it - the
pain was too severe. I applied for and receive SS disability and have been
fighting for my retirement from the state - (Insurance is a killer and can't
afford to be with out). I had one hearing a year ago and won that but the
retirement board denied my request - my attorney and I filed in Circuit Court
and had that hearing in September and still awaiting a judge's decision. In the
meantime, funds are tight and I try to keep a happy face but its difficult. I
sell Avon on the side and have g! reat help with my niece and family helping me
deliver so that has been a godsend. So - I guess prayers for a speedy decision
would be welcome - that's not costly at all. Second, I was always the
"giver" in the family - I gave so much that it put me in debt which
I'm currently fighting to get out of. So it pains me to even write this as I
wish I could help out and be an elf. So again, my wish for prayers to get of
this mess are requested so I may better help others. This is my list for Christmas, to wish YOU a Happy Birthday and for world peace. I would love almost anything for Christmas, except books and bathing stuff, because I shower. I am very lonely. I live by myself. I have one child and she is in Alabama, she cannot afford to get me a gift because she and her family are struggling just to pay their bills, so any extra money I get, I have been buying gifts for my 2 grandchildren, I love them all very much. I am in Pa. and they are in AL. My son-in-law recently got out of the service and I have a new grand baby who was born in Germany, well she is almost 2 and I have not even had the pleasure of seeing her in person yet. I can't get the time off of work and neither can they being new jobs and ect. I would love just anything, I have no family other than my daughter and family in AL. I am very lonely, I stay home except for going to work. Of course I guess I should not be asking for anything because there are people out there in need and at least I have a job and food and a place to live. So I will wish you a Happy Birthday and love and peace to everyone. Diana It's amazing to me
that I can't come up with a Christmas list JUST for me. My folks asked to do
that this year and I could only come up with 2 things. Hair ties and socks. If
anyone had asked 6 years ago I could have made a list a mile long. Everything
from clothes to music, But now It all seems so silly.I NEED clothes, But if I
lost 10 more pounds Id have enough in my closet to last a year so I cant ask for
that. Music is always nice BUT I have so many cds and tapes now I really don't
need anymore.Id like a digital camera for the web site, But I can borrow my
friends or the office camera. I guess what I really want are things no one
can give me. What I wish for
christmas is that my sister who is 24 years old with a 2 1/2 year old and 1
month old boys will be healthy and well. Three weeks after givng
birth a month early, she had an open chest surgery to remove a tumor. She
has lymphoma; which my dad died of almost 4 years ago. Forget all material
things I want HAPPINESS FOR HER!! Dear Santa,
I would like a Digital Camera for
Christmas because at age 43 I
have become homebound for two years and primarily in
the last year with multiple chronic
pain syndromes caused by nursing for 21 yrs and 3
car accidents in one yr (NO HIT ME SIGN EVEN ON MY CAR!)
I previously gave to the world
through nursing for 21 yrs. I
would use it where I give time to a local chronic pain group that picks me up
for meetings. I volunteer
time via email, phone calls, sponsor mtgs and
I sponsor activity for my eight grade hometown classmates. I could
share our activities. The
children in my life are my neice and nephew and my parents live
and hour away and receive emails through a brother that sees them
but is unable to see me. I share simple life pictures with them
like my cat and the change of seasons as my neice and nephew
live in Florida. So this
would be a vital link for me to keep others connected and
me connected to them as well. This picture is from a year ago when I was
much more mobile and arranged my class reunion
and in the center is my elementary school principal and
next to her is my eight grade teacher and they both taught
at St Margaret's of Narberth, Pa and are Sisters of Mercy.
My husband took this picture with
our old family camera and I had
it scanned by a friend. ( Dream is to have a photo scanneralso but I
will not push things!) Please
let me know how I can help others with the camera also!
Elizabeth
With my husband overseas in a war zone,
my dad being terminally ill and finding out my son has high functioning
autism, all I want for Christmas (besides a nap) is some nice smelling
body lotion or candles and some pretty stationary to write my
husband with. Thank you Santa!Merry
Christmas!Niki
All I wish for Christmas, is a new pair of shoes. I have a bad left leg that causes a huge swelling of my left foot, so all I can wear is adjustable, open toed shoes, or slippers that are way too big. I would LOVE a new pair of just the $15.00 slip-on sandals that are bought at any Wal Mart or K-Mart. I know it doesn't sound like much, but it is my hearts desire right now! I have gone to numerous charities for my sons Christmas, but never thought of myself. If help is available from Santa, the WOO HOO! If not, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to ask, and God bless you all!!! Peace to all, Stacy~~ Dear Santa, Thank you for always thinking of others. I have a Christmas request for Xmas dinner. We don''t have very much to eat, please help. My 20 month old daughter will really appreciate it. My husband is an Americorps volunteer. He makes $800 a month. It barely covers our rent, and leaves nothing left over for a Christmas dinner. Happy Holidays! Joy I am listing my Christmas wish here for SANTA and why I want it. My real wish is to have a sewing machine. The past 8 years I've been fighting Carpal Tunnel and botched surgeries from 1997. I've finally gotten repeat surgery done and my gosh it feels wonderful!!! I want to be able to make stuff w/my "new" hands ... things I can create w/my own two hands. I guess in a way to reaffirm my life, living...enjoying life that I lost for all those years not being able to do much. I lost my job, ability to drive, time with the kids and hubby.....and now I'm regaining it all again. I've put them all through so much over the years. I think getting a sewing machine would be absolutely fabulous, allowing me to create such beautiful things for my house and family / friends. I will never take for granted the ability of my hands again. Thanks Santa for listening to why I want a sewing machine. I'm not too particular I guess on what, as long as not an old 40lb model !! I am still recovering!!LoveJennifer My second little girl is almost three years old and I have not gotten around to getting a gold charm to signify her birth on my charm bracelet. I have asked Daddy the past two years but alas the gift never makes it under the tree. I didn't even ask him for it this year., KIM When I was a child I loved reading Dr. Seuss books and I was fortunate enough that I had quite a few of them. I read these books over and over again and when I got older I passed them down to my cousins so they could enjoy them as much as I did. So I would love for Santa to bring me the Dr. Seuss book, Oh, The Places You'll Go. I think reading this book would bring back many special memories and let me escape the stresses of the day. BOBBIE DEAR SANTA- I would love nothing more then to receive for Christmas more memory for my computer...I have saved on disk all I can but, there is just some things that would be nice just to access by just going into my documents with out having to put on in a disk & searching for it. I have a Gateway computer & I'm not sure what type of memory is needed but, I know I have the room for more. I guess with running my own company & other side projects plus helping out Anjie with the freelance ezboard I have soo many recipes on file & on disk. The memory would be greatly appreciated...Thanks bunches Santa' for all that you have done for others last year & for helping out Anjie when she needs it., LAHIA I really don't know what to ask Santa for because I'm used to giving gifts not getting them. Maybe I should be like my daughter when she was 7 and ask Santa for one of his elves (if only!). Now that I think about it though, I think what I would really like is a surprise. So Santa if you please..............Surprise me. Thank you. PAT My first wish would be for my husband, who had a stroke 2 years ago, to be able to walk and speak like he did before the stroke. I know that wish is impossile so the next thing I would wish for is an electric blanket or electric mattrerss pad to keep me warm on the cold winter nights. I have a queen size bed but a full size would fill the bill. I haven't written a letter to Santa for 55 years. Hope you still like milk and cookies. DONNA hi, this christmas,we are going to be taking care of my husbands brother,,since he has been sick most of the year,,,,, but I would like to have a pajama set,,and bath wash, so when the day is done and I am tired, I can go soak and get into pajamas,,,, and go to sleep to start a new day. Tammy
I have a hard one this year, my Dear
Husband has already missed Thanksgiving, and now will be missing Christmas.
You see Santa, my husband is a hard worker, and a provider for his family of
6. So his job takes him out of town all the time. I guess I just need
something to make me smile~ I know my request is much too difficult of a task
to ask, I know you wouldnt be able to bring him home, but what a gift that
would be for me and my 4 children not be without our Daddy on Christmas. The
holiday that is for families. I not only need him home for comfort and support
but a nice break, from sick kids and school work would be nice~Time for myself
to sit back and relax and ponder~ Ponder, lol whats that? Anyway Santa, bless
everyone, and most of all you for trying so hard to fufill everyones
greatest wishes at Christmas. Merry Christmas Santa~ Maybe just Maybe you
might surprise me, there's always hope~Love,Amanda
A new blender. The one I
currently have is an Osterizer. I like it just fine except two of the
four blades have broken off. I like to make mocha freezes and since
two of the blades are missing, it doesn't crush ice very well!
Thank
you for considering this and Merry Christmas to you and yours! Mary Jo
Do not get me wrong I am so BLESSED that we are able this year to even
manage to get some things for the three kids.
If I
could ask Santa for anything, I would ask for stuff for my kitchen. We built
a new home late last
year, and were very blessed to have family help us move in. My brother in
law decided that
he would unpack my kitchen supplies. Well, the people who installed my
shelves didn't place
them properly on their brackets. And to make a long story short, I lost most
of my dishes,
glasses, etc... to one big loud thunderous crash. We had to dig my poor
brother in law out
of a heap of glass. He only received a few cuts and bruises, and was able to
laugh within seconds
of the mishap. Because of two young children and using most of our savings
to
purchase
our home, we have been eating out of plastic plates and cups for months. I
would love
to have some beautiful red stoneware dishes, or some nice glasses or a
set of knives in a block, or nice silverware or a can opener, the list goes
on...........Thanks to freelance my kids are well taken care of for
Christmas, and we even purchased things for
three other children who otherwise, wouldn't have received anything from
Santa. Sincerely,
Tasha
I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SOME NEW MAKEUP . I NEVER HARDLY WEAR IT BECAUSE I STAY AT HOME AND THAT'S ONE THING WE CAN LIVE WITHOUT. I KNOW IT WOULD HELP MY APPEARANCE ALOT BUT COST MONEY. GWEN
I would love santa to bring me some
bath stuff so I can relax , and a nice date alone with my husband.I
am a stay at home mom. My husband works really hard so I can stay at home
and home school the children. We had such a rough year with the kids being
sick, one of our closest friend commited suside we found out that my dad
is going to be having a heart transplant. Its been rough and I feel we had
no time for each other , especially no time for me just to relax, and let
the stress go. Thanks Tracy
What I wish for christmas is that
my sister who is 24 years old with a 2 1/2 year old and 1 month old boys
will be healthy and well. Three weeks after givng birth a month
early, she had an open chest surgery to remove a tumor. She has
lymphoma; which my dad died of almost 4 years ago. Forget all
material things I want HAPPINESS FOR HER!!
have been a very good girl this
year, i think.. lol.. well i try anyway!! I've helped others
when i could, and saved samples for soldiers. What I want this
year for christmas hmmm well let me think. I guess my wish would
just be something special for me!! I am always giving and thinking of
others, and neglect myself. It's been a very hard year here, and
I haven't had time to think of me. So anything from bath and
body works, or some nice light perfume would be nice. I really
like that sample of Sensi perfume, but BOY is it expensive!!
What I really need is clothes!! But we'll work on that next
year... Have a wonderful x-mas santa Terri
For Christmas I would like some energizing tea (or anything that I can take that would give me enough energy to keep up with my 3 year old son) and some foot cream to rub on my aching feet from chasing after him when I get home from work. I would also like an aerobics video tape so that after I find the extra energy I can take off a couple of pounds before my husband returns home from Iraq in January :-) > Be careful traveling this Christmas Santa. Your faithful friend, Jeanette This has been an interesting year at best! Due to the ever failing economy by we lost our business and my husband filed bankruptcy. I went from part time to full time at my job ( I am a child psychiatric nurse-RN ). I work for acommunity based mental health agency I love my job but the pay stinks. We have a 3 and almost 6 year old things are crazy and I have been busy making alot of the christmas gifts. Well now I want to be selfish and self centered!!!!! I secretly want pampering thats right pampering of any kind. (My husdand took me to Chuckie Cheese for my 40th birthday and no gift not that I am un grateful but that was not my idea of my big 40. Oh he did also get me a Dairy Queen Cake!!! I will admit I love Burts Bees products. But for Christmas I want something about Me! (please don't strike me for my wish). Thanks for considering me, Meredith All I want for christmas this year is a personal way to relax, having my 3rd child this year, graduating from college this December and dealing with all the family illness that have been placed upon my family this year. I just want to be able to sit down with a good book, in a bath (bubbly one) relaxing with no interruptions. I can't even take a bath alone, someone always unlocks the door and comes in to do something, that could have waited. I just want to take some time for my self this season, which my hubby tries to prevent. Well Santa, if you could just get me a good book and some bubble bath, I would be happy, because I would make sure that everyone was in bed and I could take my bath quietly with no interruptions. Thank you Santa, I have been a very good girl this year. Love,Sue Dear Santa, I need your help this year. DH just had shoulder surgery and won't be able to drive for 6-9 months. (He's a truck driver, and it was his right shoulder.) We are a homeschool family, so we live on just his income. He is getting workman's comp, which we are truly thankful for, but that leaves nothing for gifts this year for our 4 kids. God has blessed us with so much, and I know that a Christmas with no presents is not the end of the world. The kids understand all that is going on, and they don't expect a thing. They haven't even written you Santa, because they think that there's no point. So, I'm writing for them. Our family would love s a tiny dog for indoors. I don't know how you could stick a puppy in your sack of goodies though. We would like a new family game, like Cranium or something... because we do alot of things together as a family. We don't have any extended family so we try to make holidays special with just the 6 of us and sometimes a few friends. I think this game would be alot of fun. Thanks, Santa, and God Bless! Shirley I have just one little wish and that is for some long sleeve tops. I only have two black sweat shirts that someone gave me about 5 years ago. I have not had any new ones for about, oh my I don't remember. (That is sad) I have three children and they always come first. I finally bought myself a new pair of shoes, because my other shoes had no soul on them and I found a pair reg $60 on clearance for only $10. I threw out my other long sleeve tops last year because they were all worn threw. And I thought by time this year I would be able to get myself some. Well I have been unemployed since a year ago last August and have not been able to find a job that wasn't working 2nd or 3rd shift. I need to be their for my kids, because their dad is not. I wear a size 18 and I have very long arms. Every since I lost my job over a year ago I have been helping people. My ex-father-in-law almost died because he need extra help. His family never came around, except when they thought he was going to die. After about 3 months I was able to get him out of the hospital and into a nursing home and get him strong enough to move back home. I still help him when he is down. Of course like all of us he has up and down days. Maybe God wanted me to lose my job just so I could help him. I just started a paper route, I deliver between 3 am and 6 am. That way I am always around for the kids before and after school. It does not pay too much but it is better than nothing. Well just thought I would write Santa a letter and ask for something for myself. It would be the first time I had a gift to open on Christmas for about 5 or more years. Thank you and Merry Christmas., CINDY I think I would like to be warm! Since my divorce three years ago, I haven,t been able to get used to sleeping alone! I had an electric blanket which was nice, but it died of old age. I use my old hot water bottle, but it doesn't stay warm too long. Something warm and cozy would be fantastic! Kathy I've been a very good Freelancer this year, I listen to Queen Anjie and NEVA NEVA pay full price for anything......What I would like from you this year is a battery charger and rechargeable batteries so I can take lots of pics of my grandchildren and save $$$$ by not having to keep buying AA batteries.......( I know this would keep in being a good Freelancer and make Queen Anjie very happy)...and me too!!!! Luv ya lots, Marie ps. I'll be sure to leave you cookies and milk!
I do have 1 item on
my wish list and being a good Freelancer, I have not purchased
this for myself even tho I have "visited" it several
times! I have been wishing for a "Bagel Cutter"
from Bed Bath and Beyond for the better part of the year.
I have gone in to the store twice now with the intention of
buying but can't seem to bring myself to spend the money on a
non necessary item.
The reason for my wish is
simple; I wish to save my fingers from probable peril! We
enjoy bagels for breakfast and lunch and I am currently just
using a bread knife for cutting them. I'm afraid (after a
few close calls) that one of these days my fingers will indeed
suffer! The BB&B Bagel Cutter looks so much safer by
placing the bagel in the "holder" and using the
"Knife" to push down, slicing the bagel.
Thanks for reading my "wish" Santa! Have a Safe,
Healthy and Happy Holiday Season! Brenda
For Christmas I just
want to relax, a day at a local spa. Any pampering stuff I can
do at home, a good book, chocolate,a small waterfall for my
bedroom, or bath salts , basically ANYTHING that may help me
unstress :-(, lolI was homeless from Aug 3 to Sept 28 and
staying in a hotel until I could find affordable housing. We
finally got into a place and are trying to get settled, (me ,
hubby and 3 kiddies) Now my teen son is acting up, CALGON take
me away!! lol Joyce
I know christmas here is all about the kids, but it has been a very long time since mommy has had anything under the tree.I also just turned 30 yo on November 23 ( OMG I fell OLD! LOL ),That went pretty much unoticed also. About a year ago I actually bought myself a nice 10KT gold necklace, nothing fancyjust really simple looking. Well my then 3 yo son and I were playing the tickle monster and well there it went. I haven't had the money to buy another one and it was pretty cheap, but it was the only peice of jewelry I owned other than my weding ring ( which my fingers got a tad bigger and it had to be cut off ). If that is too much than I also am a HUGE candle and bath set person. Well that is what I would really like for x-mas, just something under the tree for mommy. Thanks ( sorry so long, not too good at this kinda thing, ya know asking for something for me ) Cheryl :) Dear Santa,
I would like a
Smoothie Plus Ultimate Blender. My kids love
chocolate malts and since I am a single mom on a tight
budget, I thought it would be nice to be able to make
them their special treat from time to time. (I like
chocolate malts too). Fruit smoothies would be
nice too and healthy. I would also like a
electric can opener. We have been using the
"manual" ones for years now. My young
daughter is now my "little helper" in the kitchen
and she has a hard time turning the handle on the hand held
kind. She doesn't understand why we don't have an
electric one. (too many other things that we really
need come first, I guess). But it would be a nice luxury.
Just those two things. Thanks
and Merry Christmas Suzanne
Ho ho ho, i would like
to have a nice 3-blade pocket knife. i had a collector
style, about the size of the average man's ring-finger, and
lost it
I would like Santa
to bring me a charm bracelet. Dh bought me one for
our first Christmas together, but it go lost in the move
:( I loved that bracelet! Lisa
Hi, What I would like for Christmas is a make over. I have lost 167# and am 46 and have long thin hair I wear in a bun on top of my head. I would just love to get my hair cut and nails done something never in my life had done. I don't know how to get my hair cut and what would look good. I have worked hard to lose the weight and to keep it off. Always wanted a makeover. Thank you Cindy My Christmas wish is for an assortment of pocketbooks because you can never have to many and I love them.Rhonda What I'd like for christmas is some clothes! I've got 3 pairs of jeans, and 4 shirts, none of them even long sleeved, no sweatshirts. I want to get a job, no, NEED to get a job, but I don't have clothes to wear to a job, and if I don't work, I don't have money to buy myself clothes. Catch 22... All of the money that my fiance makes goes to food and rent and bills, and believe me, I'm plenty thankful for the bills and rent because it means I have a roof over my head and heat and lights :) I would just LOVE to be able to buy something other than necessities for the house though, something I need. I've forgone so many things so my kids could have what they need, but I'm always one to say that kids come first, before anything! Have a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays! Jen In the hopes and dreams department: What I want most is for my son and daughter to be accepted to the private school they have applied to. They are both dyslexic, you see, and this could make a world of difference in their lives. So Santa, do your magic and make a wish for my two little shining stars, Will and Emily. In the practical department: What I need is a pair of glasses, Santa. I've darn near ruined my eyes reading to them. I've read the entire Harry Potters series out loud, can you believe? Funny, it sounds like a chore, but actually, it's made for some lovely family time. Oh, and Santa, I need a printer/fax; they're doing all our work on the computer these days (love that spell check!) and it's on it's last legs. Actually it's on crutches! In the "OH, What the Heck, Live a Little" department: Think Tiffany's! Ha Ha! I have been a very good girl. Thanks for listening, Santa Claus. Elise I really need a new dress watch, preferably in silver. I am an attorney for legal aid, so I spend a great deal of time in court working for low income clients. I love my job, but it also makes for a low income attorney. My dress watch broke, and I look kind of silly wearing a Peter Pan watch with my suits. So santa, if you're listening, I could sure use a little timekeeper for Christmas.
Thanks so much.
Heather
Dear Angie and her elves, Well I've been sitting at my computer trying to decide what to ask for. But honestly, the one thing that I have wanted but have never been able to attain is to lose weight. I need to lose 60+ pounds and I am only in mid-twenties. I know I am too young to be this overweight but I don't seem to have the willpower to lose. I exercise but I don't eat well. Alot of my friends take those over the counter diet pills but they are very expensive and I don't know if they will work. I know this is probably a gift that won't be able to fufilled, but I would like some type of miracle. Something to kick me into gear to lose weight. I have so many clothes in my closet that I want to wear again and I want to be pretty. Well, Santa, see if you can solve this one. Thanks for listening, A college student from Georgia
I love candles and bath salts. I always ask for that but I never seem to get it. I dont see anything wrong with a little pampering now and then lol. I love your website, its the best thing ever and I refer all my friends. Thanks, marie
I need two
post cards of Niagara Falls. I recently
found two Niagara Falls postcards from my
deceased parent's honeymoon in 1946. I
would like to hang them with 2 current Niagara
Falls postcards. I don't care if the
pictures of the falls on the cards are
horizontal or vertical, but they both have to
be the same direction, as my 5" X 7"
frames are attached. I won't be getting
to Niagara Falls anytime soon, so I'm hoping
Santa is close to Niagara Falls and could
swoop down and find me 2 postcards. This
would make my little picture montage
complete.Thanks Santa, Sloan
would love a new gown! Not a fancy one, just a granny type, soft, comfy gown. It just seems like I rarely have the chance to buy that sort of thing for myself. Kristy Dear Santa, I've been a good Mom this year to my 2 beautiful kids and my DH. If I was able to pick out something for myself that I don't really need, I would pick a charm/link for my italian Zoppini charm bracelet. Kristen
well...lets
see what i want for christmas is something
completely just for me, not for the house, not
for the kitchen. i buy christmas presents for
everyone every year. the kids, the hubby and
parents, and in laws. No one ever ever asks me what
i might want, they assume i want stuff for the
house, sometimes i do, but i want for just me
as well. I enjoy chocolates, candies, bath
soaps..all the personal stuff i guess.....and what i
really want is what i do for everyone else is
a gift basket with meat and cheeses
and stuff like that's. i have todl people this, but no one seems to listen i guess...kindof a funny request i would say.....but you asked..and that's what i am telling you.... thanks much....and merry christmas. deborah All I want for Christmas is to have my Fiance back to normal. A couple of weeks ago, my fiance suffered a nervous breakdown which we have since learned was brought on by severe manic depression (bipolarism) Since then, I have moved out of our house, and in with my parents, at his request, as he sees how his disease is hurting me and our relationship. He is currently seeking therapy, which runs $250 an hour with a minimum of 6 sessions needed until he can be placed on medication (we live in PA, so this is NOT covered by his health insurance). We expect it to be several weeks (months?) until he can say his is "recovering" and feels the effects of medication. I don't know of any tangible item I would like to receive to help me with this, but could sure use any prayers etc that freelancers have to offer. I am most in need of support by way of hearing from anyone that has dealt with this problem both as a victim of depression, and as a spouse of someone that has this terrible illness. Additionally, most of our earmarked Christmas money is now being used for his treatment, so we are not really going to have much by way of gifts for our friends a family...but quite frankly that is the least of my concerns. This is absolutely the worse thing I have ever had to deal with in my 32 years here on this earth, and I would not wish it on my worst enemy. I would appreciate love, support and prayers from my freelancer family. DEE Hi There! I thought that this would be an easy one. Throughout your day you are always thinking, I wish I had this or I wish I had that. When it comes down to it, I am very fortunate as I have so much in my life. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful boys who are healthy and happy, a comfortable home to live in, and car that runs, and food to eat. So many people have so much less. My main wish is for my family (including my Freelance extended family) and my friends to have a wonderful and safe holiday. If I had to come up with something for myself and just for me, I guess that I would say that I would love to have a makeover consultation. I would love for someone who knew what they were talking about to give me some advice on clothing appropriate for my shape and makeup colors. I am sending best wishes to all of you and your families and may Santa fill your stockings (and your mailboxes) with many, many freebies! Thanks - Kris My Christmas wish is quite simple this year. I really really want (NEED) some me time. I have 3 kids; a 14 yr old girl who will be getting her drivers permit in 68 days, a 10 yr old girl who is developing a pre teen attitude and a 3 yr old boy who gets speech therapy 2 times a week. I am a sahm who also works at home doing data entry during nap time and late evening when everyone is in bed. I also have a husband around here somewhere! But he works a full time job and another part time job in the evening. Between cooking, cleaning my house, doing the laundry, helping with homework, running my 14 yr old to and from school for sports and band, running my 10 yr old to and from sports and chorus, taking the 3 yr old to speech and working about 25 hours a week on data entry I have little time to spend on me. All I need is three hours(probably the most my husband could survive with the three kids) to myself. I need a good bottle of wine, a good book, bubbles, candles and some things to pamper myself with. I can picture this scenario clearly in my head. I see myself (no kids) in the bathroom (with the door locked) relaxing with my wine in the bubble bath. My head is resting on one of those comfy bath pillows. I have one of those good for your skin masks on and I am reading a book by candlelight. I pause and breath deep in order to enjoy the scent from the candles. Then I perform a simple luxury. One I rarely get to do by myself or take my time with. Shaving my legs. Amazingly there are no cuts. Must be due to the fact that I am (a) by myself and (b) not in a hurry. Don't you feel yourself relaxing by the minute. No phone, no kids, no husband, no dog. Just me. Well Angie that is my Christmas wish. I feel more relaxed already. Don't get me wrong. I love my family and would not trade any of them or our life. However, I wouldn't mind leasing them out for a short period so I could regroup and come back strong. Thanks for all you do and letting me share my wish with you. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Pam Dear Santa, This year my wife and I are behind in bills so we have decided to send cards to family and bake each other a gift for Christmas. What I would most like to see by our Christmas tree this year (other than tupperware) is something for our cats. We have four cats and they are so special to both of us. They always understand and never argue. They warm us and never ask for anything. We have been "going to" build our own little cat gymnasium for years now, but the money and time is never in the same place for long enough. As one of the cats is watching me from above the monitor and one on my lap, I am close to tears now thinking of how much we would regret it if we would ever lose one before they got their tree or gym or such. What would make us the happiest this Christmas would be if you could bring us something for them this year. They are the only children we have right now, and often the only family. As much as they adore shoestrings and balls of paper, they deserve so much more because they are always there for us! Consider our kitties this Christmas, Santa! Wishing you lots of milk and cookies, Paul
Dear
Santa, Please give me a vacation (or just a
night on the town) My
son and grandchildren ( ages 6, 4 and 11
months) moved in with us. Things get pretty
stressfull at times!!!!If that's not possible
I would like windows XP and a new keyboard for
my computer. Or just pamper me type stuff. PS.
Black Hills Gold earrings wouldn't be turned
down either!
Santa,
What I would REALLY REALLY like to have for
Christmas this year would be enough money to
pay off at least some of the medical bills
that I have hanging over my head (like the
$1000 for the 3 sleep apnea studies, $900 for
the surgery center where I had to have
arthoscopy surgery earlier this year, $400 for
the Dr. that did the surgery, etc. ) so the
bill collectors will not be calling every few
minutes. That would be my first wish but
knowing how hard that would be, I would really
enjoy having some color & black ink
cartridges (BCI-21) for my home printer (Canon
BJC2100) as I haven't been able to buy them
because of all the other financial
obligations. I would also ask that you
help my ex-husband to find it in his heart to
spend time with our children, Jessica (age 14)
and Cory (age 12), this Christmas.they love
him dearly and because of a new girlfriend who
has increased his rage
i
would really like some new bath towels {
dark blue } this year .all i have is
mis matched towels.and maybe some new
sheets for my bed { full size }.times has
been so tuff lately. me and my husband both
work .but just getting the bills paid is
hard enough we dont have any extra
money to buy things for the house .i have
been really , really good this year santa.
my
only other wish for christmas is a happy and
safe year for everyone and that our troops
come home soon. Tammy
I have a real problem with buying things for myself. So alot of the times I wait until I really need something before I'll buy myself anything, even clothes. I don't mean to sound like I'm having a pity party or anything but for some reason I feel guilty. My husband is a very free hearted man and has no problem whatsoever with what I spend. In my teen years, I grew up in a very bad environment, with an alcoholic and abusive father and a mother who tried to give my sister and I what she could. I have very little self confidence and I wonder if my upbringing could play a part in it. I guess I don't feel worthy. It's hard for me to accept gifts from others, also. I can buy for my children and husband and find myself, while shopping, looking for things for others, but most of the time when it comes to me, I think I can wait awhile for whatever. I love surprises, so I don't mind getting something from someone that comes from the heart. I would be happy with anything. Love to you all and I send my wishes for a very blessed CHRISTmas to you all. Love and Prayers, Debbie Hi Santa,
I
have something I want for Christmas and
don't know if it is possible but my
printer died. I had a Epson Stylus
C4OUX and I just loved it.This year has
been so hard on me. My husband died
on Sept 11 this year at the age of 50 (I'm
40) and really feel lost in the world.
We didn't have any children together
though he has two sons who I feel like
they are my own. But they are grown so now
it is me and my furbaby, Tigger. This
year, my mom doesn't want to do Christmas.
I can understand her reasoning, my
youngest sister just got married Oct 25th
and I think she feels overwhelmed.
I'm on disability or I wouldn't ask you
Santa. I try very hard to be self
suffient. Thank
you for taking the time to read this.
I'm not picky on what type of printer. Merry
Christmas!!!Kathleen
I would like a really nice, cozy outfit to go to "radiation" treatments every day for 6 weeks..It is cold here and I just have to come everyday, the same time and don't want to be looking what to wear - I have enough trouble just getting out of bed! I know there are many in need and mine is a bit trivial, but if you can even help out another person that breast cancer disease walked into their body uninvited - that would be best. I wear a 1X . Thanks for all you do, Santa Angie Vicki When thinking about what "I" want, it's hard to decide. I don't make much money and every penny goes for my son and his needs. I really need and want is a new pair of tennis shoes. I have foot problems and I am not able to wear nice shoes anymore - bad for me since I LOVE shoes. I have to wear tennis shoes everyday and they have to be very cushioned and comfortable. I have worn out three pair just since February of this year. So that is my need and want. Debbie
I want a portable CD player that also has a radio in it because I just had my second child and I need to get into shape. I find that working out to music helps motivate me and I need all the help I can get! Thank you Santa, CJ
Dear
Santa, I would like some Bath and
Body Works bubble bath or a
new pair of Dearfoams house
slippers (boot style, size 10
1/2). I am a stay home mom
and a little pampering goes a long
way to brighten my day.
Thank you Santa. Love, Susan
My husband has been laid off
for most of the year and his
unemployment has been denied.
I am really stressing about the
holidays and making it through the
cold winters & I'm trying to
stay calm so he and the kids don't
worry. I'd love to receive
something from Dear Santa, This year I am not able to work due to my disability. I am hoping that you can help me out by sending me a new bathrobe(it's so cold here!). If possible could you also send me some craft supplies such as stamping products or craft papers. I really have been a good girl this year(well, most of the year anyways). Thanks a lot Santa. Have a beautiful Christmas. Sweet hugs, Kathie I have been a preschool teacher for 8 years. My clothes are pretty ratty. Well I turned 46 and decided I wanted to get back to an office job. I have a 2 year accounting degree. Preschool worked well when my children were little but I have 2 in college and my twins are Juniors in HS. Pretty soon 4 in college. Its time for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I lost almost 15lbs. Another reason why my clothes aren't right for my new job. I started Oct. 1st doing Accounts Payable at a school about 15 miles from home. I love it !!!!! But I have been struggling on what to wear. I would love to have some professional outfits for work. I went from a size 14/12 to a size 10. I have been going to thrift shops and have gotten some things. It has helped. I love that I am finally doing what is best for me. I am excited Teresa
Merry Christmas! My
greatest wish I would wish for
would be a new camera because
mine broke awhile back ago, and
they are just too much for us
right now! I have been
using a really really old one to
get by with, but it's just a
little bit pathetic if you know
what I mean. My other
greatest wish would be for my
pre-school daughter's Christmas
program not to be on the same
night and same time as my
Kindergartener daughter's
Christmas program. How in the
world am I going to solve this
horrible predicament!?! Dear Santa, My wish list includes horribly expensive items like a scanner for the computer, a VCR or DVD player, or a digittal camera. More reasonably priced, a gift certificate to a restaurant, craft, office supply or discount store, would be fabulous. I never buy new stuff for myself (except occasionally at the dollar store) and my family thinks gift certificates are lame and show no imagination so we never give any, but I think it would be great fun to wander about trying to figure out how to get the most mileage out of whatever amount it is. But most of all, I would like one of those Crayola crayon-makers. It is silly to want a toy at my age, but I can't help it. They are so cool. And practical too. You can make brand new crayons out of lots of little scraps and get great new color combos! However, I'll be happy if everyone shows up healthy and happy for the family gathering. Nothing else is really necessary. Thanks for listening and keeping the magic in the holidays. Reen ANY Bath & Body Works products or GC. I LOVE their products. They are an indulgence for me & when the going gets tough; they soothe me & make me feel great! Roseanne I would love to get a bunch of scrapbook and card stock paper supplies for Christmas. I use these items to make scrapbooks up for family and friends to give as gifts and any extra supplies I can get would be wonderful. Hope you have a happy Holiday.
Sherry~
Dear Santa, This year for Christmas, I would love to be able to have a day to myself to just relax. A day away from my husband and child. A day that I wouldn't have to worry about cleaning and taking care of things around home. I would love to be able to get a massage and facial and have a relaxing time at a day spa. I don't ever feel as if I get a break away from the home life because I am a Stay at Home Mom. My other wishes would be for some new clothes and winter coat. I have recently lost some weight and would love to be able to show off my new figure in some more flattering clothes. My winter coat no longer fits me, either. Thank you!!! Lisa The item on my Christmas wish list is a massaging bubble foot bath. This would feel really good after a long hard day of running errands, looking for good deals, taking of children and older lady friends. Thank you for making my dream come true. Love,.
Marla
Dearest
Santa,
My
wish this Christmas is
but a simple one,
I
want but nothing more,
than new shoes on.
Paychecks
are spent, before they
are earned,
But my
son's new shoes
come first, I have
learned.
All
the shoes in my closet
are no less than five
years old,
Dear
Lord! I hope they
don't smell like mold!
I
am currently wearing
some boots from 1993,
Rips
and tears and boy are
they dirty!
Strappy
sandles in the
wintertime?
You
can't buy new dress
shoes for work, when
you don't have a dime!
My
Chirstmas wish is
simple if you please,
A
giftcard for new shoes
for my toes-eese!
Payless,
Target, or Shoe
Carnival will do,
Merry
Christmas to me, Merry
Christmas to you!
Thanks
Santa!
Elaine

Dear
Santa, All I really
want for Christmas is
Time (or at least
a> better way to
manage it). It's
been a pretty busy
year and it looks like
next year is shaping
up the same way. My
fiance' was sent to
Iraq in March of this
year (we still don't
have a definite date
for his return). Since
then, I've been
spending my time
working 40 - 50 hour
weeks and taking care
of our 2,8, and 13
year olds. As
well as, spending my
days off 5 hours away
taking care of his
parents who are having
medical problems.
So my days off are
spent taking them to
the doctor and making
sure they have
everything they need
to get through the
week until I can get
there again. I would like a printer because mine is irreparable so I can't print the wonderful coupon opportunities that Freelancebyu provides. If Santa has bigger fish to fry, that is okay.
