Freelancebyu offers many things to our guests
and members, we offer our information and services for FREE! We
would however appreciate the support of our efforts............ here is how you
can help.......
1. Use our links: many of
our links are "affiliate" links, meaning that when you click on them
to make a purchase we are credited for your patronage. If you
click our link and then type in the url later or call in an offer WE DO NOT
GET CREDIT for sending you there. When we get credit for your
use of our links we are offered MORE deals, coupons and codes to send out to
you! If we do not get enough "clicks/sales" the program will
eventually Cancel us I know that doesn't make too much sense but
it does happen. We also make "nickels" or commission on
purchases but many times we do not make enuff nickels to get paid. You
have to reach a threshold in order to get a check. After 4 years of
working on this there are many companies that have cancelled us BEFORE getting a
check, therefore they owe us ZERO. We lose our commissions.
2. DONATIONS:
If you haven't noticed I have added a DONATION link to the top and bottom of
this newsletter. Many of you have asked how you can support the newsletter
and I really have not had a need to ask for donations until now. The
amount of people using the ebay link ......... for my nickels has drastically
reduced and we are not getting much credit from links either, I am not sure why
??? I have discussed this issue with many members, friends and family and
all have given me the same response, to ASK you guys to help, if you cannot I
certainly understand and I am not requiring that anyone make a
donation, but I am asking that if you are able to, and find this newsletter
helpful in your quest to save money, earn, win etc... please consider a modest
donation of $1.00 per month. Any and all donations would be appreciated.
I will not be "talking" about this in the future but I will be adding
the donation link on the website and continuing to run the donation link in the
newsletter. I have enjoyed keeping the newsletter "F-r-e-e" as
it should be........ Donations are OPTIONAL

3. EBAY:
ebay has a great
affiliate program that gives us 5c every time you make a bid thru our links, no
purchase required. This is a great program but we are not getting the
clicks & bids we should be, considering how many ebayers are
freelancers.

4. Referrals: sometimes I put in the newsletter offers, deals etc that require that you put a referral # or user name in the sign up form. This gives me "some type of credit" a contest entry, bonus, points, etc. Making sure that you use my referral helps freelancebyu!

5. Contributions:
sometimes
I put a "wanted list" in the newsletter for coupons, rebate forms etc
that I can use.
Also, I am always looking for Contest Sponsors. We
need Gift Certificates and prizes for contests.
Got a business or a great product to promote? offer our readers a deal, donate
your items for contests etc... email us we are always open to suggestions

6. Other Referrals: please share our newsletter with friends and family that may be interested in being a freelancer! if you are going to share part of the newsletter, please share it in its entirety so that others may sign up for the newsletter. While I am very flattered that I see the deals that I post repeated elsewhere, usually they do not credit Freelancebyu for the source.
7. Share the Wealth! POST to newsgroups, lists and forums that you belong to about Freelancebyu (if allowed) to share the site and newsletter! This is ESPECIALLY HELPFUL if you share our site with publications, including but not limited to newspapers, magazines, ezines and other forms of media that has a knack for sharing information that would be helpful to those that want to "live lavishly for less." (anjie-ism that is being used now in many different forms around the net! they say imitation is the greatest form of flatter, but I say if its IMITATION its not real (wink)"
8. Tupperware: I am a tupperware consultant. If you need tupperware I also have a link for you to use. I get a commission on tupperware orders when orders exceed $250 a month, which does not happen too often. here is the link
9. Voting: we have not done this in a long long while and I really did not want to reinstate this but is a great way to get traffic and new members to our site

increases exposure and increases the amount of deals / codes we can offer
ANJIE NOTE: UPDATE: although our COUNT continues to rise in newsletter and forum visitors our PLACEMENT on the web is DOWN mainly due to the fact that many are using MOZILLA and FIREFOX on our list and the "counters" don't record those :( if you happen to use IE, PLEASE CLICK AWAY!
12. Participate: in offers, contests, etc that we offer in the newsletter (every click, purchase, referral etc helps)
13. Volunteer:
are you a great finder of online or offline deals, do you stay online a lot? Why
